ActiveXperts solution to monitor RADIUS servers

ActiveXperts Network Monitor can check the working of a RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service) server by authenticating a user against the remote RADIUS server using a username, password and RADIUS secret.

A RADIUS check has the following parameters:

  • RADIUS Host - Hostname or IP address of the server to be monitored;
  • RADIUS UDP Port - UDP port number of the RADIUS protocol. Default: 1812;
  • Secret - RADIUS secret.
  • Timeout - Timeout in milliseconds. If the time-out expires, the result will be 'Error';
  • User - User to authenticate against the RADIUS server;
  • Password - A valid password for the account on the RADIUS server;
